6 Weeks of Intensive, Guided Microscopy Training

Together we’ll step beyond what our eyes can see and into the living world of soil. This live coaching series will walk you through the tools, techniques, and mindset needed to confidently explore soil life under the microscope. You’ll gain practical experience working with samples, setting up your equipment, and developing an eye for what healthy soil looks like under the lens. Along the way, we’ll share tips for troubleshooting and help you interpret what you see so you can make better decisions for your soil.

Learn to identify soil structures, colors and textures. Begin interpreting what they'll tell us about soil function.

Week 4: January 15- The Microbial Players: Bacteria, Fungi, Protozoa

Discover the interplay of Bacteria, Fungi and Protozoa. Understand how to spot and differentiate key microbial groups, and connect what we see to soil health.

Larger Life Forms & Soil Comparisons

Week 5: January 22- The Larger Life: Nematodes, Arthropods & More

Week 9: January 29- Soil Comparisons & Student Practice
